NEW: This year the VY820 Fjord & Mountain route starts. It takes over the Kongevegen bus (the King's Road bus) and bring you to the sections along the Kongevegen.
The bus runs from July 1st to August 31st.
The new route makes it easier to travel sustainably between the spectacular fjord and mountain areas of Gudvangen, Flåm, Aurland, Lærdal, Årdal and Filefjell, and consists of two buses that run all day.
On the stretch between Lærdalsøyri and Tyinkrysset, the route takes over from the famous "Kongevegen bus".
We recommend that you book a ticket in advance. It's also possible to buy a ticket on the bus, but a seat is not guaranteed. The bus to Kongevegen is a 19-seater.
